Involving the community

We are always pleased to involve the community in our projects.

Visit by Young Rotarians from Nairobi, in December 2017

Visit by the Charity SCAW (Sleeping Children Around the World) and Nairobi Rotary in March 2018,  to issue bedding and mattresses to Restart and to over 500 local children.

Doctor Munga has been the Restart doctor since 2013. He generously gives his services to the children for free and provides for their medication. All the team at Restart are hugely grateful for his long time commitment to the charity.

Our thanks to the Kijani Kenya Trust for their continued support of our work with disadvantaged children in Gilgil.

Doctors and Osteopaths from UK, Germany & Holland visit Restart in November 2018. Our thanks for their support and advice.

Restart children visit the Commonwealth War Graves Cemetery in Gilgil in November 2018 for an act of Remembrance.

Paula, a UK supporter, visited Restart in February 2019. She sang a Scottish lullaby to the children.
